FTSC Novice Program

 

In its quest to offer a variety of shotgun shooting experiences for all ages, the Fredericton Trap & Skeet Club located at 3098 Route 640, Hanwell, NB offers an annual Novice Program.

If you are between 12 to 16 years of age and have successfully completed a Hunter Education/Firearms Safety Course and would like to experience – Free of Charge – hands on shooting techniques and skills training by qualified instructors, then this educational shotgun program is for you. Our club has been most fortunate to have sponsors and individuals who have generously donated their time, products and expertise to help fulfill and promote the future of shotgun shooting for the next generation of young shooters.

For 2025, the course will be offered on Saturday’s from 10:00 am until noon and the tentative dates are April 12, 19 and 26. Once registration is confirmed, participants will be informed of any changes due to unexpected circumstances, such as inclement weather conditions, etc.

Please note that parental/guardian permission and supervision is required. The maximum attendance is limited to 12 participants for this year.
